The project "Competences of Active Seniors - Storytelling 55+" was successfully completed. An international team of experts from the Lublin Regional Tourist Organization from Poland, Unione degli Assessorati from Italy and Ljudska univerza Rogaska Slatina from Slovenia have developed educational materials in the field of cultural storytelling:
- "Cultural Storytelling" training course
- a set of storytelling cards
- e-book "Cultural storytelling. "Methodological Guide for the Educator"
Educators working with groups of seniors received tools to support the development of narrative competences in telling about the history of places combined with personal experiences.
On June 29, 2023, a dissemination conference was held at the LROT headquarters, during which we presented the results of our joint work. The main goal of the meeting was to present a set of tools created as part of the project: workshop scenarios, storytelling cards, e-book and to discuss their practical application in working with older people while maintaining respect for their individual stories.
Conference participants were also familiarized with the project's objectives, the course of its implementation and the assumptions of the Erasmus+ program.
Members of the Lublin Regional Tourist Organization, representatives of cultural institutions, universities of the third age, senior clubs, representatives of local governments, educators working with older people, and freelancers were invited to the conference.
